Letter cards are an important addition to your home writing center. They are super simple to make and are amazingly versatile. Don’t worry no flashcard drills here, just super fun and easy games to add to your play.
10 Ways to Use Letter Cards!
5- Bunny Hop to the Dinosaur Stomp: Place your letter cards around the living-room floor. Have you child move to card by announcing “bunny hop to the letter T”, “bear walk to the letter W”... Again, ff you child is beyond letter identification try yelling out letter sounds or simple words.
6- Letter Card Headbands: Using painters tape, loop a pieces of tape and place a letter card on your child’s forehead. Give them clues to guess what letter they have, “It comes after the letter D”, “ It is made out of 4 straight lines”, “The word elephant begins with this letter”...
