FOR THE LOVE OF
If you follow Easy Lemon Squeezy on Instagram you know that it is my favorite way to keep in touch. I love the visual first approach of Instagram and find it perfect for our business that takes aesthetic and design so seriously.
While I am no Instagram expert, I have learned a ton since starting Easy Lemon Squeezy and one of the most important lessons is to stay organized. So as my bestie I wanted to share my July Instagram process plus it is a great way to keep myself accountable :)
The First Big Decision:
With my magic number in mind, the month before I make a list of my 12 photos.
I keep this working document going all month long, bold(ing) the photos I have ready to go. Because we are a business, I need to highlight products on my feed, as well as what's happening on the blog this week, without getting too spammy. Listing all my photos out and labeling them product, freebie, blog or life, let's me look at my ratios each month and make sure I am not leaning to hard in any one direction.
This is where I keep reminding myself that I need to be present on my feed. I am challenging myself to be in 3 photos this month and am keeping myself accountable by listing these photos out beforehand and highlighting them in purple.
Here is the list I made in June for my July posts.

When to Post:
By looking at my Instagram insights I found that my three best days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. These days are best because it’s when most of my followers are on Instagram and are interacting with the platform. You can only get this information when you switch your account from personal to business. People have lots of feelings about which type of account is better so do your research and decide which feels best to you. I love to have a little data bit of data to make my work more intentional.
Now keep an eye out for my posting on Instagram and see how the layout, personal presence and timing works it's magic. Feel free to comment here or on the gram with more questions or share your insights!
